Our wireless password was not accepted.\u00a0 After entering the wifi password multiple times we discovered that the wireless password on the iPod is case sensitive (capital letters vs. small letters makes a difference).<\/p>\n<p>Entering the WEP\/WPA wireless key into the iPod touch in <strong>all upper case letters<\/strong> solved the wireless password problem.\u00a0 And <a href=\"http:\/\/forums.macrumors.com\/showthread.php?t=366375\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">I&#8217;ve heard<\/a> to <strong>not use the Caps Lock key<\/strong> to do this, rather, just use the Shift key (requires it to be pressed each time while tapping a letter or number).\u00a0 This doesn&#8217;t make logical sense to me (Shift key vs.Caps Lock for upper case letters), so feel free to give Caps Lock a try first.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-156\" title=\"iPod Touch 2 Thin\" src=\"https:\/\/installingcats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/ipod_touch_thin-1.png\" alt=\"iPod Touch 2 Thin\" width=\"329\" height=\"43\" srcset=\"https:\/\/installingcats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/ipod_touch_thin-1.png 329w, https:\/\/installingcats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/ipod_touch_thin-1-300x39.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 329px) 100vw, 329px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our brand new iPod Touch 16GB version 2 arrived today.\u00a0 First problem: can&#8217;t connect to wifi router (Wanadoo\/Orange).
